I had a talk with Agne to get to know her and her job at Templafy:
Tell me a little about yourself, Agne.
My name is Agne, I’m 26 and I was born and raised in Lithuania. I studied my Bachelors in Vilnius, where I got an Economics degree. Since I was always interested in tech, I decided to move to Copenhagen and get a Masters degree in E-Business, which taught me the fundamentals of a tech world, everything ranging from programming to strategic selling. Since my first day in Copenhagen, I fell in love with the city from the first sight, so after 2,5 years here I can successfully call it my 2nd home now!
Happy to hear that! What do you work with at Templafy?
I am an Enterprise Business Development Representative, which means I am a liaison between our Marketing Department and Account Executive Team. I am helping enterprises around the globe to make sure they can successfully and productively govern their brand across all company documents, presentations and e-mails. That being said, I am strategically developing and qualifying revenue opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers via outbound calls, emails, and social media.
Sounds interesting! What is the best part of your job?
So many things, that I don’t know where to start! I think what I love the most is the fact that every day brings me new challenges and it never gets repetitive. The scope of your tasks can always change and evolve, so with the autonomy that Templafy provides me, I know I am always making the most out of my days. Also, the people – it is an eye-opening experience to work with a bunch of super-smart, likeminded, energetic individuals and share the same vision. Not only it creates a family environment but also helps me develop new skills and gain new insights that will help me in the future.
In June you were over 200% over your sales quota. What’s your secret sauce?
I must say it is a combination of a few things. I have an amazing team around me, so I was definitely soaking up the knowledge and experience from my peers. After experimenting with various sales techniques, I identified what fits and what does not fit my personality which, I believe, was an essential part of the learning process. After all, I realized that a key to success should be forgetting your sales hat behind the door and instead help the client solve the pain that they have. Once you build up trust – new ways to prosperity will open up.
Why did you choose to be a part of a scale-up like Templafy in the first place?
I think the most important part of why I decided to join Templafy is that I 100% believe in the product. There is no other similar product in the market that would help multinational organizations across different industries to solve their marketing, brand management and communication challenges, which puts Templafy in a very unique position in the market. I am fascinated by the progress the company has made in such a short time and from the very first minutes I met the team, I realized that I want to be a part of this journey!
What’s keeping you happy at Templafy?
I am all about tech and working for a company that has created a universal standard for document templates and brand asset management is an incredible opportunity. Even though Templafy is considered to be a newbie in the market, it won a Startup of the Year Award in the Nordics, so hey, who would say no to working in, literally, an entrepreneurial innovation hub? Even though it’s the very first steps of my journey, I am sure I will stick to Templafy for a long time. This is the place, where I can confidently say it will let me grow, not only in the sales position but in other fields in which I am particularly interested in.

How do you feel about these reasons?
I am grateful that the people around me see how inspired and passionate I am about my job. I must say that this could not have been done without having an inspiring leadership and encouraging colleagues around me. Here at Templafy, peers constantly challenge me which boosts my confidence and spark even more courage to tackle bigger challenges for bigger accounts. I am sure that it was a great personality and skillset fit from the very beginning, which will grow into big opportunities shortly.
Finally, what is your best advice for making a difference in a growth company?
The advice I would give is – be bold, be confident and be courageous. Do not be afraid to question every single bit of the process that you think can be improved, do not be afraid to find your own key to success by trying out new things and always be open for a change – I am sure that can spike your creativity in ways that will ultimately benefit your skillset and organization through new ideas and goals!
