Blueprint Learning – Building up a sales department

Blueprint Learning is an innovative e-learning company. They are specialized in the mandatory postgraduate courses attorneys and accountants have to take and made them accessible online, on-demand. Their digital solution has been received very well, despite the two industries being quite conservative. This was why their Sales Manager Henrik chose to contact Statum in December 2017 to get some help in building up their sales department with the right people.

Statum’s digital recruitment process has made recruitment easier for us. Their open and positive dialogue have made it possible for us to hire three skills Account Managers.

A challenging candidate profile

Henrik need a recruitment partner who could locate the right candidates in order for him to focus on developing the sales department. We knew that candidates who could talk the ‘language’ of the lawyers and accountants weren’t exactly easy to find. For the same reason, we quickly agreed to build up the partnership around close dialogue and ‘feedback loops’ on every single candidate. This would make sure that we constantly learnt from the process and came close to completely correct match for Blueprint Learning.

A good partnership has been the key to success

Our partnership has been close and mutual for the past six months, where we have been continuously finding candidates. Henrik has been super fast at pulling in candidates for interviews and thus enabled an efficient process, making the candidates (and us) very pleased. The partnership has resulted in a total of three new Account Managers for the department. The department started with just one employee. Henrik hired one person at a time to make sure that the onboarding went smooth for all three candidates. The end result is a strong sales department.

The secret: Network

Our network of candidates has really come to its right in this partnership. All three candidates are people we picked up from there. They were not found on Linkedin or another common channel. This also meant that Blueprint Learning has gotten some employees who they would not have found elsewhere. For all the same reasons, our partnership continues and we look very much forward to being a part of their continuous journey.
