An Account Manager to Pleo in 3 weeks

Hyper growth creates recruitment challenges
Over the next couple of years Pleo expects to go from 50 to 200 employees. This creates some natural challenges when it comes to recruitment. It is not helped by the fact that there is a very low unemployment rate in Denmark. This means that Pleo (and most other companies) need to look in other companies to find their new talents.
We knew that we were able to solve exactly that. The major part of the partners we have are in a very similar situation. Ida from Pleo had faith in us and therefore we quickly agreed to partner up.
A dedicated focus on scale-ups is our ‘secret sauce’
We start up all new partnerships with a thorough dialogue where we establish common ground on the profile the company is looking for. There was certainly no exception made for Pleo. Ida and Statum’s Match Manager Anne went through all the relevant aspects of both the position and the company’s DNA. It quickly became obvious which persona Pleo needed. Because of our unique focus on scale-up companies we have a big network of candidates available, who match the needs of hyper growth companies. That established a solid ground for an efficient recruitment process.
First candidate delivered within a few hours
After the meeting, Anne went hunting on our platform, where she found the first match. That enabled Ida to see the first match the same day the process was started up.
The following eight days we contacted more relevant candidates on our platform and reached out to the relevant ones in our network. Typically, it is young, ambitious people who already are acquainted with a start-up or scale-up, but want to try something new. We found seven candidates who matched what Pleo was looking for. Given all seven were people we were already in touch with, valuable time was saved.
It all resulted in the process taking just 3 weeks from take off to a signed contract with Pleo’s new Account Manager. Their new Account manager is going to work with the Danish market but since he also speaks a fluent German, there are obvious paths to go down in the future.
We very much look forward to following his development and continue our flourishing partnership with Pleo. They still need roughly 150 people so it is straight back to the drawing board!
